By default, your browser may have blocked pop-ups from automatically showing up on your screen. When a pop-up is blocked, the URL address bar will display Pop-up Blocked.
In order to progress through your learning, you may need to enable pop-ups on your browser.
Note: Pop-up settings may be managed by your Employer if your device is owned by your organisation. If not, please follow the directions below:
Google Chrome
1. On your device, open Chrome
2. At the top right, click
3. Under "Privacy and security", click "Site settings"
Note: On a mobile, go straight to "Site Settings"
4. Select "Pop-ups and redirects"
5. Under Default behaviour, choose Sites can send pop-ups or use redirects
Note: On a mobile, toggle "Pop-ups and redirects" to Allowed
Firefox
1. Open Firefox
2. Click on the menu button and select Settings
3. Under "Permissions", uncheck the box next to "Block pop-up windows" to disable the pop-up blocker
Microsoft Edge
1. Open Microsoft Edge
2. At the top right, click on the menu button
3. Under "Settings", select "Cookies and site permissions"
4. Select "Pop-ups and redirects"
5. Turn off "Block" to allow pop-ups
Internet Explorer
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. At the top right, click on the Tools button and select "Internet Options"
3. Under the Privacy tab, untick "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" to allow pop-ups
4. Select OK
Safari
1. Open Safari
2. Click on Safari and select "Preferences"
3. Select "Websites"
4. Select "Pop-up Windows" on the left
5. Choose Allow for the websites that appear or choose Allow on "When visiting other websites"
Note: on an iPad or iPhone, open Safari. Under the General section, toggle "Block Pop-ups". A red toggle indicates pop-ups are enabled
