An exciting new Community Officiating course is now available on the Australian Sport Learning Centre.
The new online course replaced the existing Community Officiating General Principles Course, which was retired when the new course went live on 26th March 2024.
The FREE Community Officiating Essential Skills Course delivers on the core learning objectives of the current General Principles course and brings a far more participant focused approach to coaching through new modules.
Q. Do I need to complete the new Community Officiating Essential Skills course?
A. The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) encourages all current and new community officials to complete the new course.
Q. Is my Community Officiating General Principles course still valid?
A. From 26 March 2024, the new Community Officiating Essential Skills course replaces the old Community Officiating General Principles course.
Q. Will I still be able to access my Community Officiating General Principles course certificate?
A. No, from 26 March 2024, you will no longer be able to access your Community Officiating General Principles (COGP) course certificate.
Your COGP course completion will remain on your Record of Learning, but you will need to complete the Community Officiating Essential Skills course to gain a certificate.
Your Record of Learning is accessible via your dashboard, either in the screen header (desktop) or in the hamburger menu (mobile).
