About the Community Officiating Masterclass series:

The Community Officiating Masterclasses will help grow the capability and competence of Australia’s officials by taking a deeper dive into topics explored within the Community Officiating Essential Skills course. Each Masterclass guides officials on how to apply this knowledge they gain in their own environment.  

If you have not completed the Community Officiating Essential Skills course recently, we highly recommend it: Enrol in the Community Officiating Essential Skills course.  

Community Officiating Masterclass series courses:

1. Community Officiating Masterclass - Who you officiate (released 28 October 2025) will help you create environments that align with the motivations, needs and goals of participants you officiate.
2. Community Officiating Masterclass – How you improve (released 15 July 2025) will show you how to use reflection on your personal development journey and become a more effective official.
3. Community Officiating Masterclass - What you officiate (released 24 March 2026) will show you how to adapt your officiating approach based on the needs of participants and context of the competition.

4. Community Officiating Masterclass - How you officiate (released 28 April 2026) will help you prepare to make and communicate decisions effectively to positively impact the participant experience. 

5. Community Officiating Masterclass - Where you officiate (released 21 April 2026) will help you manage risks, adapt equipment and the environment to meet the needs of participants.
6. Community Officiating Masterclass – How you connect (released 27 January 2026) will help you effectively communicate with participants, fellow officials and other stakeholders and foster positive interactions.
7. Community Officiating Masterclass - How you engage (released 24 February 2026) will help you effectively engage with stakeholders that support you as part of a cohesive team.
